Baltimore VOTES! Baltimore City Board of Elections is hiring a new Director!
Earlier this year we gathered community input to hear from YOU, what we need from the next Election Director for Baltimore City. After compiling that feedback, this letter was drafted and signed by more than 100 community leaders and organizations. Have you signed on yet? Do so here! This was delivered to the Board of Elections on June 18 at their regular meeting. While we were not able to discuss this or receive a response from the Board, we are still moving forward! It is our understanding that the new Election Director will be named in the coming month. We intend, as a coalition, to attend the August meeting (August 21) to present the letter and final list of signatories to the newly installed Election Director.
