Community Engagement

Community engagement is a vital part of our work in public service. We are committed to building stronger relationships in the Park Heights community that will enrich the lives of the residents. The Community Engagement Committee works closely with community leaders/partners to identify groups of people, whether they are connected by geographic location, special interest, or affiliation address issues affecting the well-being of the community.

Blanket Baltimore

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Metropolitan Baltimore’s Blanket Baltimore is a special day of giving back to the community. This one-day community service event is an opportunity to network with the area Divine Nine members. We collect blankets, clothes, shoes, and personal care items. Each organization selects a nonprofit to receive the donations. Blanket Baltimore is here to help aid those who are in need in our city. 

National Night Out

Held annually at The Delta Center, this event is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Christmas for Community Partnerships Toy Drive and Gift Wrapping

Christmas for Community Partnerships (C4CP) is a group of partners who work together to provide Christmas gifts to communities and individuals in need in the Greater Baltimore Area. Christmas for Community Partnerships is working in collaboration with the Community Engagement Committee of the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and other community partners to make the Holiday memorable for a child.

This community service project helps to support non-profit organizations and underserved communities in the Greater Baltimore Area by providing Christmas gifts to families in need.
